Dovy Cornerford, Founder

Being a passionate Welshman, the love for rugby runs deep in the veins for Dovy.

After 16 years in rugby playing in the UK and Australia, it’s only right that he puts back into the grassroots game, where his passion for rugby was born.

Since leaving Wales and studying in Australia, Dovy now calls Sydney his second home, another successful sporting nation that holds rugby dear to their heart.

With an engineering background, Dovy sets out to pioneer innovation to the game through research & development of rugby equipment to get the best out of rugby athletes.

Dovy founded W RUGBY to grow the grassroots game to new levels; attract a new generation of players, spread awareness of rugby inclusivity and diversity and commit to developing a brand that caters to every single player.

Andy Lewis, Founder

Andy has always been obsessed with rugby, playing from the age of 6 at his childhood club in England and through to School, Club, County and University.

Studying Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Bath, he became interested in the psychology of playing sport to maintain a healthy lifestyle. After moving to New Zealand, he built programmes that helped grow community participation in sport and the development of sports clubs. This is where his passion for helping the grassroots game was born and why he is so committed to making Project: Won for Won™ a success.

Andy now lives in Sydney, Australia. He still loves watching the game and plays a variety of sports. Andy believes that people from all backgrounds should have the opportunity to play sport, and W RUGBY sets out to provide this to communities that would benefit it most.
