World’s Best Rugby Jerseys

We’ve created a list of some of the sexiest looking modern rugby union shirts from the last couple of seasons. Trying to stay clear of some of the ‘easy’ picks and really thinking outside the box to some kits you may not have even thought existed. Some true stunners and we want to buy them all!

Scotland // 2020-21

Sleek, clean and crisp is how we’d describe this. Some say one of the best Scotland rugby jerseys to date and it comes with a historical twist. With a fold-over collar reinvented for the modern era and the classic blend of blue and white, it could be a shirt from a bygone age, and that’s with good reason – the flashes of gold on sleeves and collar placket are there to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the first ever international rugby match, which was held between England and Scotland in 1871.

Nigeria // 2020-21

We tried to pick a single word that would describe this jersey and we landed on - snazzy. Very much ‘in-your-face’ with a lot going on - the motif and bright green skirting really catches your eye. Maybe even tactically, trying to blend in with the grass on the pitch!

Wallabies // 2020-21

Whilst Australia’s Home Jersey is a recycled version of the 2019 Rugby World Cup kit, the indigenous ode above is certainly something different. Whilst Aussie’s had glimpses of indigenous generations on their shirts previously, the white patterns are very prominent on this occasion. With Australia recently singing the National Anthem in both languages, and changing the lyrics in 2021, it certainly is a show of intent that goes beyond just a shirt.

Germany // 2018-21

One you may not have come across. But if Germany’s on-field game was as strong as their kit game, nations would be shaking in their boots. This kit was actually released in late 2018, but they must have loved it so much that they kept it the same for the next few seasons - and who can blame them?

Argentina // 2020-21

Can you even have a list of best rugby kits without mentioning the titans of the kit game? Year after year, the Pumas march onto the field with some of the best threads out there to the jealousy of the opposing team. It clearly makes them step up their game on the pitch, as proved by wearing this jersey during their famous win against the All Blacks in last year’s tri-nations tournament.
